		<description><![CDATA[Whitney Schmidt lead an exploration of  beauty in nature and natural dyes with our youngest &#8220;explorers&#8221; today!
She talked about beautiful things in nature.

And we dyed strips of cloth using tumeric, mud, black walnut, and beets!

We dyed colorful strips using these dyes.
 
We braided the strips into necklaces, bracelets, and belts.

<p>We drilled holes in shells and wood slices and used walnut slices to add decorations.</p>

We had a great time with Kim Calhoun today! She led us on an absolutely wonderful edible plant exploration! We learned to identify and eat dandilions, chick weed, cleavers, and plantain!
